Before you assume it
Four things this does not do
“Online exams” and “e-learning” carry a lot of assumptions, so it is worth being exact. These are four a school might expect. None of them are here.
- Proctor or lock the screen It presents an on-screen exam and takes the answers. It does not claim proctoring, screen lockdown or anti-cheating monitoring — what is documented is the exam and the content, not surveillance of the student taking it.
- Grade written answers On-screen exams here are objective. There is no automatic marking of an essay or a long answer — a written paper is still read and marked by a teacher, in the exams feature.
- Be a video-conferencing app The video gallery is recorded lessons to watch back. This is not a live video-class product, and nothing here replaces the tool a school runs a live online class on.
- Declare the offline result Conducting an on-screen exam is this page; the marks, grades and declared result of a written exam are the exams feature. The two are kept separate on purpose.

The exams feature runs the offline exam — the marks a teacher enters and the result that is declared. This is the on-screen exam a student takes in the app itself. They are two different things, which is why they are two features rather than one page pretending to be both.
